Britney Spears Sued By Ex-TMZ Photog For 2007 Hit-And-Run Incident

Britney Spears has been hit with a lawsuit by a paparazzo she hit with his car in 2007. The “Circus” star apparently rolled a photog’s foot with her car during her tumultuous year.

Ricardo Mendoza did not press charges in October 2007, when the singer rolled over his foot with her Mercedes convertible. However, he has filed a lawsuit on Friday, citing assault. The event was captured on video.

He was employed by gossip website TMZ at the time of the incident.

According to the lawsuit obtained by eonline.com, Spears “intentionally, deliberately, wantonly, maliciously and with a conscious disregard for the rights, health, and safety of others” drove the vehicles in a manner that had caused her to severely injuring Mendoza.

Mendoza is asking for unspecified damages.
