According to someone close to Britney who spoke with In Touch Magazine, Britney wants to keep things simple for her wedding plans with Jason:
She wants a traditional Southern-style wedding with comfort food, surrounded by her family, her two sons and all of her childhood friends, as opposed to a Hollywood wedding. Britney is taking this marriage really seriously.
The two seem very good for each other, so it’s nice to see she wants to put some of her roots into the wedding’s theme. I’m sure it’ll be beautiful!

Jason Alexander, Britney’s ex from an annulled marriage in Vegas (I think we all remember…) is bashing her engagement to Jason Trawick, according to Us Magazine. They quote him as saying that he thinks the whole situation is fake and he insinuates that the proposal is just another method of control from Britney’s handlers. He said it was, “sort of sad” and, “a[n] answer to the court thing.”
I don’t know how much of this is true, but I tend to disagree with the picture situation. She looks very happy to me!

According to SocialStatistics.com, Britney has the most Google+ followers at 1,083,366 . Google’s co-founder and CRO Larry Page is at #2, following Britney by about 120 users. Snoop Dogg, Tyra Banks, and Richard Branson round out the top 5. We’re happy for Brit in leading that board, but compared to the 15,707,273 likes she has on Facebook and the 11,943,053 followers she has on twitter, this number is small. Obviously, Google+ is new and it’s always great to be the leader! Brit’s last Facebook page popularity I could find brought her in at #82 from All Facebook. Twitter Counter has her listed at #5 behind Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Kim Kardashian. I guess we’ll see how Google+ does in 2012!

Britney Spears’ fiance Jason Trawick splashed out on her engagement ring – the diamond band set him back $92,000.
The singer became engaged to her agent boyfriend last week and the pair quickly shared its happy news on Twitter.com.
Spears later flashed the lavish ring as she partied with Trawick during his 40th birthday festivities in Las Vegas over the weekend, and now it’s emerged the Neil Lane band cost Trawick $92,000, according to Life & Style.
A source tells the publication, “Jason helped design a 4-carat round-cut-diamond-and-platinum ring that has diamonds all around the band. It’s gorgeous!
“He looked for a while for the perfect ring and chose it all by himself. By now he knows what Britney likes. Jason’s never been engaged before, so he’s really, really excited. He’s thrilled that Britney will be his wife. They’re both happy. They’ve come a long way.”
